Capella Electronics can also produce a variety of sheet metal works. we work with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium. We can design in-house or we can work from your drawings. we have the machinery and know how to manage most small or large batch processing, or even one off prototypes.
The metal workshop works side by side with the elctronic workshop so we can cater for your product needs.
We can make and assemble metal work parts through to complete electrical assembly, carried out in a separate clean environment.
Our in-house metalworkers use such methods as:
- Tig welding (aluminium/stainless steel/mild steel)
- Spot welding
- Stud welding
- Folding/brake press
- Cutting/sheet metal up to 3mm thickness
- Punching CNC machine (euromac)
- Hand punching
Finishing can be in various forms including powder coat, wet spray and we can also provide labelling. Below are some of the applications we cater for:
