Our Product Divisions

Capella's main production division comprises two sections:- ENGINEERING This department is primarily, a sheet metal working facility. Virtually all Capella's products are housed in robust mild steel enclosures which are designed and manufactured in-house. This allows a very high degree of flexibility in the type of product Capella is able to create - fast turnaround, low-cost and high quality. Capella also has the ability to produce one-off, small batch, specials and prototypes very quickly. State-of-the-art CAD and CNC machinery ensures repetitive accuracy of all output. ELECTRONICS Assembly, in-process inspection and final testing of products are handled by the Electronics department. Plated-through-hole (PTH) and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) are employed for the manufacture of all products using the latest plant and machinery available. As with the Engineering department, one-off's, specials and prototypes are comfortably managed. Both production departments are tightly integrated and under joint control of the Administration and Design offices. The entire company is governed by a strict Quality Assurance system that unifies a Health & Safety policy and application of mandatory EC Directives to guarantee high quality goods.
