Product Item Code: JS140 Product Title: FBU – FAILSAFE BYPASS UNIT Application: Manual door alarm override system PDF Specification Sheet: Download Now OVERVIEW The JS140 is a simple bypass/shunt system that allows a keyholder access to a protected area by temporarily disabling the security system monitoring device. For example, a safety deposit vault on bank premises is usually monitored on a 24-hour basis by the security system. In order to gain access, the vault monitoring device(s) (e.g.magnetic door switch or passive IR) will have to be manually disabled locally to allow entry by authorised person(s). The FBU is a failsafe method by which to control access – audio and visual indicators prevent accidental false alarms and the FBU also ensures that the sensitive area is never left accidentally unprotected.
