Product Item Code: JS215 Product Title: ATM INTERLOCK OVERRIDE Application: Contact shunt timer for emergency ATM access PDF Specification Sheet: Download Now OVERVIEW The JS215 is a simple low cost timer designed for use on Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). The primary function of the JS215 is to allow temporary access to the ATM safe compartment to ensure the locking mechanism is in the correct state prior to final closure. This can only be achieved by shunting the safe door alarm contact for a short period. The ATM Interlock Override applies a shortcircuit across the door contact for a fixed period of 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, the shunt is removed and the ACTIVATE SHUNT button is disabled for a further 15 minutes – known as the LOCKOUT period. After the lockout time has expired, and providing supply is still applied to the JS215, the contact may be shunted again. On installations where two or more ATMs are in close proximity, it may be desirable to allow only one ATM safe door contact to be shunted at a time. This may be easily implemented by using the integrated Interlocking function. The Interlocking process is fully automatic and requires no user intervention. Although the JS215 has fixed time periods for this particular application, other timings may be requested for alternative uses. KEY FEATURES
