This section is devoted to information concerning compliance with British, International and Industry Standards, UK legislation, mandatory Health & Safety regulations and relevant EC Directives.
 
BS EN 50131
Following contact with BSI , SSAIB and NSI , as of 20 April 2006, all high security products are declared with the following rating (unless specified otherwise): -

Grade 3
- Medium to High risk.
Environmental Class 2 - Indoors, uncontrolled.

This meets requirements specified in prEN 50131-1:2004 in consideration of a system context PD 6662:2004 clause 4.2. As each product enters our current design upgrade program, accompanying product documentation will reflect any changes.

WEEE
In response to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations that came into force in January 2007, Capella have established a relationship with Electrolink in order to ensure responsible disposal of redundant goods. For further details regarding the waste regulations, please visit the Environment Agency and the Department for Trade & Industry websites. Please contact Capella directly for further information.

RoHS
Capella declare that all products and related manufacturing processes are fully compliant with the directive enforced on 1 July 2006.
